Set Up Your Account
A. How do I set up a Chepelos account?
  1. Go to Chepelos.com
  2. Click ‘Sign Up’, select ‘Customer’, and fill out your info
  3. Enter a valid email address 
  4. Choose a secure password that’ll be easy to remember
  5. Click ‘Create Account

Tip  You can also sign up using your existing Facebook or Google+ account.

B. Do I need to set up a new account as Customer if I have registered as a Company or Sales Rep?

If you have previously registered as a Company or Sales Rep, you DO NOT need to set up a new account.  

  1. Log in as Company or Sales Rep
  2. Click on your displayed name
  3. Select ‘Account Settings’ from the quick access menu
  4. Click on ‘Activate Personal Profile

Tip  Company, Sales Rep, and Customer profiles can send and receive referrals. However, you might prefer to separate your business referrals from your personal ones. This is where you need to add a Customer profile.

How to use my dashboard?

  1. Find businesses and browse local deals – using the top bar searching for your favour businesses in town, or simply enter the city, and click search button to see what’s out there.
  2. Invite friends/families & favourite businesses to join Chepelos to receive real cash rewards.
  3. Track all your referrals/invitations/rewards
  • find the referrals that you’ve sent out to your friends and families
  • see all the invitations you’ve received
  • check the detailed history of your rewards and rewards balances under ‘Profile Balance
  • use ‘Filter’ to locate the reward faster

Tip  Click on your display name for quickly access to ‘Dashboard’ and a few other places.

Your Referrals
A. Sending Referrals (How do I send out referrals?)

 

You have to have a Chepelos account before sending a referral. If you do not have one, please sign up first. It’s free!

  1. Go to Chepelos.com
  2. Click ‘Log In’ or ‘Sign Up
  3. Find your favourite local deals on Chepelos using
  4. Click on the company name to see the company profile information  
  5. Click ‘Make Referral’ and use the different ways to send the referral to your friends/families
  6. By doing the above steps, you become an Advocate for the business

Tip  Sharing your referral on Facebook or Twitter with your friends/families will allow more people to see your referrals, so you may earn more cash as an advocate.

B. Accepting Referrals (How do I accept referrals?)

You will receive referrals from Chepelos as well as anyone else via an email. In the email you will find the attached referral coupon. If you like what you see in the coupon and want to accept the referral,

If you already have a Chepelos account:

  1. Go to Chepelos.com
  2. Click ‘Log In
  3. Click your displayed name on Chepelos,
  4. Select ‘Dashboard
  5. Click ‘Accept
  6. Once it is accepted, you can then collect the rewards by presenting an electronic or hard copy of the coupon when shopping at the local business.

Tip  Nothing prevents you from becoming an advocate for the business that you just accept a referral for. Please see Sending Referrals on how to become an advocate for a business.

If you do not have a Chepelos Account:

  1. Go to Chepelos.com
  2. Click ‘Sign Up
  3. Follow the steps in Set Up Your Account
C. Types of Referrals
  1. Referral from Chepelos - Local business often rewards their customers and advocates at the same time.  Click ‘Start Earning Now’ on the company profile page to accept the referral from Chepelos. When you make a purchase at the business, you will receive the rewards offered by the business to its customers.
  2. Referral from friends/families – You will receive a referral email every time your friends or families send you a referral. The referral email contains a referral coupon. When you make a purchase at the business, you will receive the rewards offered by the business to its customers, as indicated on the coupon.

Tip  You can view all the referrals received, and their detailed information on your ‘Dashboard‘. 

Your Rewards
A. Check Your Rewards Info (How do I check my reward credits and reward history?)
  1. A quick glance - you total rewards credits are shown beside your profile picture and name, as soon as you log in.
  2. Full details - to review the detailed transaction of each reward, you will need to  go to your ‘Dashboard
B. Pending Rewards (How do I check my reward status?)

As soon as the business confirms your purchase, you will see Pending Reward under Status on your ‘Dashboard.’

C. Missing Rewards (I have made a purchase, Why don’t I see it in my rewards history?)

A business must confirm your purchase first. If you can’t find your rewards in your ‘Dashboard’, you may choose to contact the business.

A business may take up to 14 days to transfer funds to Chepelos.  As soon as we receive the payment from the business, we will immediately update your total reward credits.

If you believe you're still missing a reward on your dashboard, please email us: referral@chepelos.com. Please include your referral number in your email.

D. Request A Withdrawal

You can withdraw your rewards in cash at any time!

  1. Go to Chepelos.com
  2. Click ‘Log In
  3. Click your displayed name
  4. Select ‘Money Withdrawal
  5. Enter the $ amount
  6. Select the payment method
  7. Click ‘Continue

We will send you the cash via e-transfer or PayPal using the email address on your account. If the withdrawal amount is less than $50, $1 fee will be charged. Otherwise, withdrawal is free.
